i only have factions and i only find tht i can mm... :P any1 know any cool builds for factions?

If you decide to branch out from MMing, there are a variety of builds you can use, or even create your own.

Having only Factions, you lose a lot of good elites for MMing, but since Guildwars will not give you skills that you can't use to beat the game, just remember that the skills you do have access to will allow you to beat Factions.

You can probably make a reasonable blood magic build in Factions.

How about something like:
[skill]Cultist's Fervor[/skill][skill]Lifebane Strike[/skill][skill]Blood Drinker[/skill][skill]Vampiric Gaze[/skill][skill]Unholy Feast[/skill][skill]Vampiric Swarm[/skill][skill]Well of Blood[/skill][skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill]
Idea is you spam the skills with Cultist's Fervor on, and the life steal negates the life sacrifice from Cultist's. I'd recommend using a weapon with +20% longer enchantments. Personally I use a staff with a Double mods for Half Casting Time of Blood Magic (20%) (inscription and head) and an Enchanting Staff Wrapping - I find the increased chance to HCT of blood magic skills is nice on skills with a long cast like Vampiric Swarm.

Other decent elites to look into are [wiki]Vampiric Spirit[/wiki], [wiki]Spoil Victor[/wiki] and [wiki]Icy Veins[/wiki].

Blood 12+1+3
Soul Reaping 12+1
Death Magic 0 (!)

Since you only own Factions you will not have access to heroes. Since you won't have access to heroes you can't run a hero MM. Since you can't run a hero MM you won't have any corpse exploit on your team.

Since you don't own Nightfall or GW:EN you miss out on some valuable E-management skills. Animate Bone Minions fixes that. Returns 26 energy for 15 casting cost.

All in all a pretty effective build against high-level foes.

Unfortunately Factions offers a pittiful selection of Curses skills. Prophecies and Nightfall both offer better Curses skills, though I would say Prophecies comes out on top for skills like Insidious Parasite and Spiteful Spirit.

It would be a wise move to buy one of the other expansions for a wider variety of skills (over all classes, not just Necro). Prophecies isn't very expensive any more.
